Stop Bundling Things I Don't Want with Things I Do Want!

I am really impressed by a couple of the new &quot;Blue Label&quot; laptops BUT I have absolutely zero interest in the Push2 adapter that allows for viewing laptop content on a television. Why can't I simply buy the laptop without the stuff I could care less about? <br/><br/>Make the Blue Label laptops a la carte!!

Why can't I upgrade the memory in-store on a new laptop purchase?

How hard can this be? I want to walk in, or log in, buy a new laptop, and upgrade the memory at the time of purchase, and have someone competent install it before I ever take it home.

<text>I agree. It makes little sense that I could not access this by using my regular bestbuy.com log-in without having to sign up separately for IdeaX...I thought the whole idea was to get ideas from your customers, and now, do you actually know the ideas you're getting are from your customers?</text>

<text>I completely agree. This would have been a real help recently when I purchased my son a laptop. Initially, I wanted to purchase the laptop on the website and have it available for him to pick it up at his local Best Buy store, since he lives several hours away, but after reading the fine print, realized this wasn't possible. I understand the idea behind having to show ID and the credit card used for purchase is to prevent fraud somehow, but it seems to me that a simple PIN number or password, or even his driver's license number entered at the time of purchase would be a reasonable work around.</text>

<text>I agree. As a writer, I often find myself needing to use my laptop in low-light situations., so I am actively in the market for a new laptop with this feature, even though there is nothing whatsoever wrong with my current laptop...</text>
