We should be able to buy the mp3s on Napster for the price of the CD, and be able to pick up the CD in store later. Anyway, the CD will end up being ripped to mp3, so why not make it more convenient for customers, and make sure they buy the CD at CD price from Best Buy?

Some people don't have a computer readily available yet have and Ipod or similar device. Or buying online and installing is an inconvenience. Instead of passing on a full priced CD and leaving, a customer can walk out having purchased a few songs for about $1 each. Or buying, say a Napster card, and using it instantly.

maybe if Napster is already on the computer it will be easier to get out the word that it's still a relevant downloading site

It would be great if we had a Napster Kiosk in store. For this we just need to have a PC with Napster installed. Customers could use their flash drives or burn to a CD with cards they purchase in store.
