Please push backlit keyboards as a priority for all of your vendors of laptops. My wife's Dell Studio 15 Laptop has one, and I can't imagine buying a laptop without one now. Whether surfing from bed, working in a dark conference room, or trying to finish that presentation on a transatlantic flight, a backlit keyboad is crucial.

I agree. As a writer, I often find myself needing to use my laptop in low-light situations., so I am actively in the market for a new laptop with this feature, even though there is nothing whatsoever wrong with my current laptop...
